In Greek religion and mythology, Poseidon was the god of the sea and protector of all waters. After the fall of the Titans, he was made the ruler of the sea. People worshipped him as a god of navigation, to help guide them in any storm or other dangers in the vast oceans of Earth, and they also worshipped him as a god of fertility, to help them grow their crops. Poseidon was a very important figure in ancient Greek mythology and I also think he was the most dangerous Greek god Poseidon was the Greek god of water and sea.
